Personal Story of Abraham Justin:
Abraham was brought up in a Roman Catholic faith where he strongly followed all the rituals of RC and served as an altar boy to help the priest for 7 years and he also wanted to become a catholic priest. In 1991 he had gone to his Aunty’s house in Trichy for a vacation and there he heard the gospel from her but he refused to accept it and after few days she took him to a gospel meeting where the Lord spoke to him from His word about God’s Love and eternal life, those words touched his heart and with no hesitation he confessed his sins and accepted the Lord as his Personal saviour and went back to his home town as a new person. In 1992 he got baptized and joined a local Church in his home town where he grew in the Lord, during this time Abraham felt God’s call on his life and went to Gospel for Asia’s Bible Seminary to train up himself for ministry, during the training he heard several stories of Missionaries who sacrificed their life for preaching the gospel in difficult parts of North India, such stories gave him a vision and passion to go to North India as a missionary. In 1995 after his studies, he went to Punjab and served the Lord with GFA. It was a challenge to learn the language, adopt the new culture and tolerate the extreme weather but the stories of Missionaries motivated him to move forward with much passion. In 1996 he joined with Campus Crusade as a Jesus film team member, after two weeks of training he was sent to Jammu Kashmir, the difficult part of North India to proclaim the gospel, he was placed at the border of Pakistan for two years to reach out the border villages, he showed the Jesus movie to hundreds of village where people heard about Jesus first time in their life. He motivated the young people to join Jesus’ film team and about 50 young people from different Churches joined Jesus film team. Abraham dubbed Jesus film into 4 local languages of Jammu Kashmir. It was one of the biggest challenges for him to dub the movie into these languages (Kashmiri, Ladaki, Badrawai and Kistuwari). In 2001 he was sent to Chennai for leadership training and during this time he got married to Beulah, after the training he moved to Delhi along with his wife to give leadership to Church planting training with Campus Crusade. He trained 200 Pastors in 3 years. In 2005 he came to Trichy with his wife to Start Power in the Word ministries with a vision to train the untrained to reach the unreached. Since then, he has been training, equipping and motivating men and women to Plant Churches, form Bible Study groups and train others to do the same. Appreciate your Prayers for him as he is giving Leadership to Power in the Word Ministries which is continually training Men and Women for the Expansion of God’s kingdom

Athirst Ministry-bringing the living water in Botswana Africa
Thad, Sara and Elianna Tucker are working in Northwest Botswana. This family, originally from rural Alaska, have teamed with GoSendMe Global as well as Word to Africa and Every Nation ministries. “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me because the Lord has anointed me to preach good tidings to the poor.” Isaiah 61:1
There they are ministering to the San Bushman tribes that are mostly unreached rural villages. They are sharing the gospel message and discipling new believers. As well as the Word of God they also teach skills that the people may use to improve living conditions.
Thad’s versatile background in farming and logging makes for lots of trades that he is happy to teach including carpentry, welding, farming and mechanics. These skills also enable them to live off the grid in this remote Kalahari village.
Some of the greatest needs in these remote areas are basic food and clothing. One of the effective methods they use is to trade necessary items for local made handcrafts. Then the people, who are within traditional culture, are proud of the accomplishment and aren’t receiving handouts. The jobs are limited so most are not employed or making any source of income. This builds a foundational trust that God is their provider and not just the mission.
“If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, and one of you says to them ‘depart in peace, be warmed and filled,’ but do not give them the thins which are needed for the body what does it profit?” James 2:15-16
Sara is also skilled in education as a homeschool mom for over 20 years. She will be supporting the preschools and teachers in each of the five surrounding villages, as well as working with primary schools when the opportunity arises. In the past years she was supporting the kids learning English and assisting with special needs classes.
“A righteous man regards the life of his animal but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel.” Proverbs 12:10
Elie’s heart’s desire is to improve the care of the local village pets. As the people are poor and needy you can imagine the pets are even more so. She has taken it on herself to contact the Animal Welfare office in the larger town and they hope to provide basic vet care services of flea and tick dipping and vaccinations as well as sterilisation to the village when she receives approval by the village council. She also has requested support to provide dog food to the most needy.
Please prayerfully support for this family as they follow God’s call on their lives to reach out to the hurting.

GRN
GRN is a leading provider of Christian evangelistic and discipleship audio visual materials to the least reached language groups of the world. Our passion is to work where there are no translated Scriptures and no viable local church, or where a written Scripture or portion is available but where there are few if any who can read it or make sense of it.
Audio visual materials are a particularly powerful evangelism medium as they communicate the gospel in story format suitable for oral learners. Our recordings can be downloaded free of charge from our website, and distributed via CD's, email, Bluetooth and other media.
Since we began in 1939, we have produced recordings in around 6,500 languages. That's over 1 language per week! Many of these are the least reached language groups in the world.
